Step 4-select account
Konrad Springer
Hi,
This is expected. When importing using seed phrase, you import all account that you had or could create using "Create account" function inside Casper Wallet.
John Ecie
Konrad Springer But I only created one account, and now I can't find my account. How is that expected? I lost all my CSPR because the wallet is garbage.
Konrad Springer
John Ecie: Have you imported accounts from Casper Wallet? Or did you want to import accounts from Casper Singer or Casper Dash?
John Ecie
Konrad Springer I imported it once before. I had already transferred the account from Casperdash. It was working fine, but one day I tried to go into the extension, and I had to set up a new wallet again, so I used the same seed phrase, and now I'm in this mess.
Konrad Springer
John Ecie: In order to import wallet from CasperDash there are different steps than only using SeedPhrase. Please refer to our guide
https://casperwallet.io/user-guide/migrate-from-casperdash-to-casper-wallet
Also if you previously imported CasperDash account to your Casper wallet and then used Casper wallet recovery phrase, it will not have Casper dash account. It is needed to be imported again as separate account using steps above
John Ecie
Konrad Springer I already had it transferred to the Casper wallet. It's no longer in the Casperdash wallet. The problem is all the accounts to choose from during step 4 when setting up the new Casper Wallet with the Casper wallet seed phrase.
Konrad Springer
John Ecie: Do I understand correctly that you have all your accounts that you are currently used inside the casper wallet?
When we import wallet using seed phrase, we have option to select which exact accounts we want to import. Those accounts exists anyway in the chain and most users only use first few from the list
